The Wani Clan (和邇氏) is a Japanese clan recorded in the classical genealogical sources of Japan. In the Shinsen Shōjiroku (815 CE) and related lineage chronicles, the clan is classified as imperial-descent (Kōbetsu). The lineage is traditionally associated with Yamato (modern Nara Prefecture) during the ancient period. Lineage records appear in classical chronicles, shrine genealogies, and provincial gazetteers. See the Japanese-language page for the full lineage record, member registry, and citation list.
