The source attestation is the Suga palace passage in Kojiki (712 CE) Upper Volume, where the name appears in the chain of the Izumo lineage: she is given as daughter of Okami-no-Kami and consort of Fuwanomojikunusunu-no-Kami, by whom she bears Fukafuchi-no-Mizuyarehana-no-Kami.
