The source attestation is the Ugayafukiaezu genealogical passage in Kojiki (712 CE) Upper Volume, where the four children of Ugayafukiaezu-no-Mikoto and Tamayori-Hime-no-Mikoto are listed: Itsuse-no-Mikoto, Inahi-no-Mikoto, Mikenu-no-Mikoto and Wakamikenu-no-Mikoto. Mikenu is recorded as having crossed over the waves to Tokoyo-no-Kuni, the eternal land. The database preserves the name with its scene reference.
