Azaka Shrine, located in Matsusaka, Mie Prefecture, is a shrine of the Engishiki Register (927 CE) dedicated to Sarutahiko-no-Okami. According to tradition, it marks the site of the deity's death, recorded in the Nihon Shoki as occurring at Azaka on the Isuzu River.
