The Nakatomi Clan (中臣氏) is a Japanese clan recorded in the classical genealogical sources of Japan. In the Shinsen Shōjiroku (815 CE) and related lineage chronicles, the clan is classified as divine-descent (Shinbetsu). The clan is attested from the ancient period to Nara period (–794 CE) onward.
